Ikea Lack TV Stand

I instantly fell in love with this apartment below. {If anyone knows the source, please let me know! I saved it on my computer & forgot to add the source, oops!}I love everything about it; from the modern sleek lines to the pop of blues & greens throughout. Currently I'm on the search for a sleek & simple tv stand. I looove the tv stand in this apartment.

First things first, I immediately went to Ikea's website! I spotted the "lack" tv stand in white for $49.99 It's definitely on the list! I then went to google & tried to find what it looked like in "real life" (: I love to do this because it gives you a better idea of the size, scale, opinions, etc.

It is used here as a coffee table, pretty cool!

This is ikea's picture above. Absolutely love it! I love the way you can still decorate around it. That's a MUST! =)

Has anyone owned the ikea lack tv stand? Likes or dislikes? I'll let you know if I decide to buy it or not! =)

Disneyland!

Perhaps the number one thing I was excited about in California was DISNEYLAND! It was such a magical place! The weather was perfect & the lines were short! What more could you ask for? (: We had a really good time.

This my prince in front of It's a Small World. Calvin's mom was the most excited about this ride than any of us! haha It was cute & a little freaky! lol

I should have got a better picture of my shirt, it had Mickey & Minnie on the front & their backs were on the back of my shirt, it was super cute! Although I tried, I couldn't get Calvin to wear a Disney shirt! But he did wear a red shirt! lol

I had read on Pinterest, that if you go to Disney World or Disneyland, you MUST get a dole whip float. That was number one on my phone notepad for my "Disney To-Do List." It was amazing! Super refreshing! It's Dole pineapple soft serve with pineapple juice on the bottom.... yum!

Calvin & I in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle!
A classic picture you must get! (:

the teacups!! We were so tired, we decided not to spin them, just enjoy the ride! haha The next day we were in Barnes & Noble & I read that the lavender teacup spins the fastest!

Oh yeah, right before we left to Disneyland, I decided to cut my hair! I cut around 4-4.5 inches off. It feels so good!

These are two pictures I took & made into a collage on instagram. It melts my heart! I wish I could have met Walt Disney. Such a kind heart to invent Disney!

Favorites of Disneyland!

Space Mountain

Awesome ride! This was Calvin's favorite! The stars were so beautiful!!

Peter Pan's Flight

We were about to leave & we still wanted to ride several rides & check out downtown Disney, see the parade, etc {haha} but since we were with his mother & kids, we were on their schedule. We had enough time for one ride & we chose Peter Pan's Flight. We ended up waiting an hour and a half (the longest we had to wait for a ride which was amazing but not good since we were in a hurry lol) I'm so thankful it ended up being my favorite ride! Calvin won't admit it, but he liked it too! haha

Dole Whip Float
Need I say more? Delicious & so cute!!

Rancho del Zocalo restaurant

This Mexican restaurant was delicious! They gave you good size portions & also free refills! Gotta love that!

I also loved that Disneyland isn't huge, it's somewhat small, you could make your way around very easily. It was so awesome to experience the first & original Disneyland. I don't think I saw one person in a bad mood. Now, I can't wait to visit Disney World!

Travels & Kendra Scott!

Hey everyone! Sorry I have been out for a while. It's been crazy here! I have been out of town every.single.weekend. this month including 10 days in the middle. It's good to be getting back in routine today. My husband & I went with his mother to California on a business trip to help out & babysit the kids while she was away for the week & to give her a break. First off, California is AMAZING!! We are already planning our trip back! We got to see so much stuff, but we definitely want to go back & see more. It will also be a totally different experience with just the two of us, versus babysitting 4 kids! hehe (:

While we were in Beverly Hills, I spotted the Kendra Scott store! It was so awesome to see all the beautiful, colorful, bright jewelry all in one place! Talk about eye candy! I was in heaven! (: Kendra Scott only has three store locations: Beverly Hills, Austin, & Dallas. It was definitely a treat to have the pleasure to shop inside the store, the two girls working there were very friendly & helpful! I'll definitely be back when I'm in Cali again.

Calvin bought me this pair of beautiful earrings as an anniversary present {our 5th anniversary was May 26th!} I absolutely love them & him too! ;) They came in the cutest dust bag too!

I have the earrings on in this picture, click on the picture to enlarge  (:

I promise to be back blogging more, I've missed it! Until then, I'm going to start unpacking & doing laundry! Have an awesome Memorial Day!

iPhone Case Shopping

My Kate Spade iPhone case broke yesterday. I was sad, but also excited to get a new one. Love when that happens! I went to the website Society 6 & oh my goodness. The choices. The designs. Ahhh! Haha There were sooo many to choose from! Here were my top 10:

And the winner is the last one {the yellow vw!} It is especially close to my heart because I own a VW! Although it isn't pink or turquoise with sparkles {like my usual picks haha} it is very different & unique which I also absolutely love. The one that came in a very close second was #9, that may be my next one. I love all the vintage 50s clothes in front of that cute shop.

Have you ever been to Society 6? If you haven't, go check it out!

Springtime Color!

I am sooo happy it is Spring!!! I love how the earth really feels like it comes to ALIVE. I'm so thankful that we haven't had much of a winter in Virginia Beach. I absolutely LOVE the weather here! But there was still something missing from December~February {yes only, February, my daffodils starting blooming in the middle of February!} that something was COLOR. I'm so happy to see color again; from fashion, decor, & nature!

So speaking of color, I LOVE these rooms!
